Vacation Bible Camp 2015

Greenwood's 2015 Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) is underway with over 20 kids and a host of adult and youth volunteers enjoying the fun. There's still room so come join us through Thursday, July 2, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Our theme is “Animal Crackers” by Heifer International. We intend to raise at least $120 to purchase a sheep for a needy family, through the Heifer Project.

Food Donation Connection

Greenwood continues to help feed the hungry in Glen Allen through our distribution of free food every Friday at 6 p.m.

Food is collected from participating restaurants by church members. The July pick up rotation schedule is posted in the narthex and available online here.

As the people of God, we are called to develop our faith through the understanding of God’s love and to be a church dedicated to prayer.

We believe that Christ is calling us to serve by being present and welcoming to all, regardless of ethnic, cultural or economic background.

God calls us to give our time, talent and monetary resources to proclaim effectively the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
