Introducing

Greenwood Learning Center

Coming Soon

A Ministry of

Greenwood United Methodist Church.

We will provide a safe place for neighborhood children to participate in Henrico County Public Schools' Virtual Learning system during the upcoming 2020-2021 School Year.

We are seeking to make supervised space available for children of parents who both work outside the home and can't be at home to supervise their children's distance learning.

We are still developing this new aspect of Greenwood's highly successful After School Ministry to accommodate our children during the COVID19 Quarantine. There's much more to come.

For more information, or to enroll your child, please call the Greenwood church office at 804-266-5341 or email us at admin@gumcva.org.

The people of Greenwood UMC welcome children of any race, religious belief or national heritage regardless of their ability to pay for such care. Special needs children are accepted based on the program's ability to meet their unique and individual requirements.

Vision

The Greenwood UMC After School Ministry is an extension of Greenwood United Methodist Church's ministry to children and their families, providing an atmosphere of love and acceptance in which each child can develop socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually and intellectually.

Mission

The Greenwood UMC After School program’s mission is to serve the needs of all families by providing a safe and supportive Christian environment in which preschool and school aged children can be exposed to the teachings of Christ, develop positive attitudes toward themselves and others, and learn skills that will best equip them for their further educational opportunities

Tuition

The cost for our After School program has been raised to $65 per week, with a one time $50 start up fee.
